This old dame has been one of the most popular medina cheapies for years now, and its location certainly can’t be beat. Located just inside Bab Bou Jeloud and within walking distance from the gare routière, the Cascade has seen better days but still offers simple, clean rooms at basement prices in a very friendly atmosphere. Some rooms conveniently take up to three people, while others have nice big windows. Shared showers and toilets are located out in the hallways and can get busy at times, though there are also separate wash basins scattered around. During summer they offer mattresses on the twin rooftop terraces, the higher of the two with a fantastic view over the comings and goings at Bab Bou Jeloud.
