Probably the most famous Morocco excursion is the desert trek. We did ours near Ouarzazate. Landrovers took us out in to the desert where we met our guides and their camels.

As a group we road the camels for about an hour into the desert, where we set up our tents and had dinner prepared for us.

That night we ate and slept under the start.

The next morning after taking lots of pictures of ourselves in desert attire, we mounted the camels and returned for the Landrovers to pick us up.

It was an experience I will never forget- who spends the night in the Sahara desert under the stars?

Other interesting excursions that we have done included riding 4 wheelers and dirt bikes near Marrakech and Essaouira, and hiking in the mountains, spending the night in Berber villages.
